Johnson's Pond is a beautiful freshwater pond along the forest's edge at Veasey Park where people enjoy fishing, canoeing, and kayaking.

The whole venue is available for private, daily rentals. Indoor and outdoor spaces allow for a variety of events. From tent rentals to your choice of caterers, you can personalize your experience here at the park with exactly what you want without any pressure to add what you don’t need. 12 hours included between the hours of 10am and 10pm.

Unlike typical North Shore venues, Veasey is surrounded by nature, not parking lots. No traffic. No office buildings. Just hilltop views, carriage paths, forest trails, and a freshwater shoreline.
A true DIY venue, Veasey lets you bring your own vendors and vision. Vanessa, our rental coordinator, is known for her warmth and support.
The Great Hall is a 1,500 sq. foot former chapel, originally built by the Little Missionary Sisters of Charity as an addition to the bungalow. It features a high, arching buttressed wooden ceiling, tall windows with tinted glass, and beautiful natural light that enhances this open, unique space. Now fully accessible and lovingly adapted for flexible use, the Great Hall is still sometimes referred to as “the chapel” by longtime guests and community members.

The Veasey Suite is a beautiful Craftsman style living room with an adjoining dining room. It boasts an amazing working fireplace made of striated rock from the Merrimack River. The Suite also has it’s own entrance though a screened in porch and comfortable couches and chairs.
