An award-winning science writer, Kelly has contributed to countless articles and tours through his work with Sky & Telescope. He holds degrees in astronomy and science journalism and has dedicated much of his career to reducing light pollution, serving on the board of the International Dark-sky Association (IDA) and working with its Massachusetts chapter.
