ABOUT US
Veasey Park is an open space and recreational facility for the public to enjoy. It offers almost 50 acres of fields, miles of walking trails, 80 acres of freshwater shoreline for fishing and canoeing as well as picnic and recreation areas. These are all open to the public year round, for free, from dawn till dusk. To learn more about the property’s history, refer to Our History page.
Veasey has Indoor and Outdoor Rental Spaces available at very affordable prices. We have Wi-Fi throughout the building. All rentals include tables and chairs. When booking, arrange to use one of our two, large, commercial kitchens for your catering needs.
Please consider us when you need a one-of-a-kind venue to host your special events.
We host everything from Fundraisers, Weddings, Birthday Parties, to Group or Club Events and/or Meetings.
All the revenue generated by our rentals and fundraisers go back into the maintenance and upkeep of the park and buildings.
Meet The Team
Doug has been part of the Veasey Team since 2008. He worked as a police officer in Beverly before retiring. What began as a volunteer role soon became a position management team at the Park. When he's not fixing something or solving problems around the Park and town, he's relaxing at the pool with his daughter, baking up treat, or at The Poets Inn at Whittier Tech with friends.
Vanessa joined the Veasey team in 2015 but has been involved as a local resident and volunteer since 2013. Her background in nonprofit work and love for the arts as well as nature, made working for the park a natural fit. When she isn't hosting events or writing grants, she spends her time travelling with her partner and their three kids or testing out crafts with the family.
Carole has been part of the Veasey Team since 2016. Trained in textile design at the SMFA in Boston, with a B.A. in Sculpture, she is thrilled to combine nature and the arts in programming at Veasey. When not at Veasey, she is probably trying to learn Latin with her daughters, reading with her dog, or tutoring Middle Schoolers in classical home-education.
